Moscot was founded in 1915 by the patriarch of the Hyman Moscot family. This family, arriving from Eastern Europe via Ellis Island in 1899, began selling eyewear in Manhattan with a simple shopping cart.
Today, the brand develops collections of retro sunglasses, as well as vintage eyewear that draws directly from the archives of the Moscot family to create their models.
